Pre-employment Polygraph test

Introduction

The pre-employment polygraph examination for is unique in its process. It is a searching process to confirm an applicant’s background information and/or to uncover information that would disqualify the applicant.   

As with any polygraph examination, pre-employment polygraph examinations do not take the place of an investigation. Instead, the pre-employment polygraph is used to enhance the background process. A thorough background investigation should always be conducted in conjunction with the pre-employment polygraph examination.

The decision to hire, or not to hire an applicant, should never be based solely on the results of the polygraph examination.
